Sandy relocates to Harare . . . Closes Bulawayo boutique

Dance queen Sandra Ndebele-Sibindi has relocated to Harare to be with her husband, Nkanyiso who started working there two months ago.
The artiste has as a result closed her Sandy’s Hub boutique in Bulawayo with plans to open a shop in Harare.
“I left Bulawayo about two weeks ago as my husband got a job in Harare. I thought it was best for me and my children to join him,” Ndebele-Sibindi said.
“We now live in Mandara.”
She said she was still in the process of securing a school for her two children, one in Grade 0 and the other in Grade Two.
“I left our kids with their grandmother in Kumalo, Bulawayo until the end of this school term when I expect to have secured places for them here,” she said.
The Malaika hit-maker who has already secured a show at the City Sports Bar, said she would continue performing while also working on her various art projects.
“Moving to Harare doesn’t mean I’ll stop doing what I love most – arts. The move for me is just a step in the right direction as there’re more opportunities here compared to Bulawayo.”
The artiste who is more popular in Harare than Bulawayo said her dance group Intombi Zomqangala would continue dancing and depending on bookings, would from time to time travel to Harare to perform with her.
On her boutique, Sandy said it was loss making and was bound to be closed.
“I closed the shop last month because business was low and I was already planning to move. I’m still studying how people do business here before I open my shop. In the meantime, people can still purchase handbags online.”
Sandy joins fellow artistes, Albert Nyathi, Mambokadzi and a host of dance groups that have left Bulawayo for Harare. The Chronicle
