He told H-Metro Sport after their training session at Barclays Sports Club on Wednesday that he is keen to make it in the first team ahead of the Harare derby.

The former Dynamos player decided against joining his former club after a three-year stint with Kalmar FF in Sweden early this year.

He missed training for a week following a brush with the law, that saw him being charged with malicious damage to property at the magistrates’ court.

The case was postponed to May 4 but Gutu says he is focused:

“I want to focus. I don’t want to continue talking about that incident. I don’t want to be reminded about it. It’s a case before the courts and I will face it when the day comes .For now, I want to be in the team. I want to be at my best before the day.
