Former MP Paul Madzore arrested over maintainence arrears

Former Glen View South legislator, Paul Madzore is failing to pay for the upkeep of his two children. 

The 46-year-old appeared at the Harare Magistrates’ court where his former wife, Philda Kanengoni, 37, was complaining that he defaulted paying maintenance.

Madzore is US$1 040 in arrears.

He admitted to failing to abide by the Harare Civil Court 2013 order, which required him to pay US$300 for the upkeep of his two minor children when he appeared before magistrate Sharon Rakafa.

On October 30, Madzore was ordered to pay US$300 for the upkeep of his two children.
He then paid US$140 in November 2015 and he then defaulted paying maintenance from December 2015 to March 24.

Philda decided to lodge a complaint with the police leading to her former hubby’s arrest. H Metro
