Last week Baba Tencen who is famed for his Kuripwa Kugara clowning on Facebook took to the same platform to express his gratitude for the pledge.

“I cannot believe the good news. Thank you Sir Wicknell. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been trying to assist Sir Wicknell to contact me.

“Yes, we are in touch, we have talked to him and the pledge is for real… Ko inga ndakataura ndikati ini ndinoripwa kugara zvose nokuvata. Mondidii? [I have told you before that I get rewarded to merely sit and sleep, what will you do?],” said the comedian.

Looks like Wicknell has delivered after all just as he promised and bought brand new cars for the Zimbabwe national men’s football team coach Callisto Pasuwa and women’s national team ‘Mighty Warriors’ coach Shadreck Mlauzi.

Meanwhile comedian Carl Joshua Ncube who annoyed Wicknell by proposing to roast him during a show has hit back at the apparent attempt to spite him.

“So Wicknell is trying to show that he hates me so much he is willing to show me by giving money to another comic??? How exactly does that stop me from roasting him on 23-25 March at REPS THEATRE!” Joshua Ncube wrote on his Facebook page.
