Tin Tin now a mother

HARARE – Television and radio personality Tinopona “Tin Tin” Katsande in now a mother! The former Studio 263 actress gave birth to a bouncing baby boy on Tuesday after seven hours of labour.

Tin Tin who is married to musician Virimai Chigariro, said she was really happy on the birth of Yambuko NokutendaIshe Chigariro.

“He’s wonderful although labour was exhausting. I had a normal delivery and he is 3.1kgs and tall, tall like his father, ” Tin tin said but was cut short by baby Yambuko who broke into a cry. Yambuko is a miracle as Tin Tin revealed.

Last year, Tin Tin took to social media , revealing how the doctors had said she could not bear any children as she had endometriosis. Endometriosis is a gynaecological condition that causes cells from the uterine lining to flourish outside the uterine cavity.

The condition causes pain and infertility. The 35 year old however officially entered a remarkable stage in her life journey. She had her hubby Virimai and best friend Belinda Mutinhiri as her birthing partners.

“Yoo, labour is something else, it’s indescribable. The whole nine months are something else ,” Tin Tin continued. Earlier on she had taken to Facebook to announce the birth of Yambuko and described how she was feeling.

“Today I witnessed perfection. Pure and untainted, undiluted and no preservatives. Just the work of God in all His Glory. Today, I held my miracle. I cannot begin to express to you how God is so real in my life. I will praise HIM all the days of my life.

“I will never be afraid to speak of God’s awesomeness in my life. I have a son. I have an amazing husband. I have the most truest of friends and the most encouraging of family. I am so very blessed. Thank you for the many prayers, encouragement, best wishes and kind thoughts throughout my 9 month journey my FB family and friends. Indeed it was a speedy and safe delivery. I am so very blessed. I have met the love of my life.”
