Man caught with Black Mamba confesses to witchcraft

A man of Malawian origin, who was arrested yesterday after being found with a snake in a bag, has confessed to mysterious works of black magic and witchcraft.

The man’s confessions of the kingdom of darkness is a chilling script almost literally pulled out of an old horror movie.

The 32-year-old Grey Mpinganjira revealed that the serpent is a divination tool inherited from his late mother.

Claiming to be a traditional healer, Mpinganjira said the snake helps him read problems on behalf of those who come to seek help.

“These snakes were kept by our mother and since I was helping her in healing processions, our uncles gave them to me when my mother died,” said Mpinganjira.

He said something must have gone wrong for the snake to be found but has vowed it will find its way back to him.

In another chilling confession, this much prized possession in the Mpinganjira family feeds on human blood and has already killed three sisters in the family.

The killings have not made Mpinganjira repent as he argues it is part of the price they have to pay as owners of the Black Mamba.

As the National Parks and Wildlife Management Authority deems it a crime to own a snake without a licence, Mpinganjira is now in police custody though he is not moved by the arrest.

To him, it is just a little inconvenience, perhaps living on the conviction that he will be re-united with his snake partner.

He probably sees those who do not understand the oracles of is realm as a little ‘misinformed.’ He certainly is not losing sleep at all. ZBC
