To date I have read so many articles, watched on TV commentary about the prophetic ministry from so called experts and I can safely say I am done with these so called experts.
If anything I have come to the realisation that nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance. The extent of our ignorance and imprudence determines the degree to which we conveniently ignore the truth or remain indifferent. Wisdom demands that we learn the truth before lashing out in criticism on matters we barely understand.
Much of the negative criticism levelled against events of this kind fit perfectly well in the category of deception from the pit of hell designed to prevent the Church from fulfilling her glorious prophetic destiny on earth.
Who can dispute that since time immemorial there has always been a desperate need for the steady and reassuring voice of a living prophet of God?
One who will speak the mind and will of God in showing the way to national prosperity, personal peace and happiness. Even great Kings of the Old Testament acknowledged Prophets and their counsel knowing that a prophet among them was of more value in time of trouble than the possession of great armies of horses and chariots.
More so, more than ever we live in a world of turmoil where we find sadness, destruction and too many challenges in every corner of the world that we cannot afford to do without the voice of God.
In our present generation God has raised men and women to preach God’s truth into the hard ground of men’s hearts and plow up this hard ground caused by tradition, wounds and experiences from the past, religion, and faithlessness.
