HARARE – A Dzivarasekwa pastor lost his wife of 28 years to his married younger brother.  Smart Mudisi, 54, separated with his wife, Beauty Chipere, 45, after he caught Beauty and his younger brother, Tinashe Mudisi, 43, between the sheets, it is alleged.

Tinashe and Beauty are reported to have refused to attend a church service to have time to themselves. They have since left the house and are now food vendors at Mwanza Business Shopping Centre in Chikwanha.

Smart said he feels betrayed by Tinashe whom he had accommodated in his limited rooms since he has three daughters and one son.

“My younger brother wrecked my marriage of 28 years. I feel betrayed by Tinashe who was under my custody looking for a job,” said Smart.

“I never suspected that anything was going on between the two.

“I caught them making love in my bedroom after I returned from a church service in suspicion after receiving reports of their illicit affair.”

Smart said he had enough evidence to prove that Beauty and Tinashe are in a relationship.

“To prove their affair, the two are now selling sadza in Chikwanha village using a different name, Gono, to disguise relatives and friends.

“Ndakatadza chii chaizvo? Haanyarewo vana vedu nemukwasha?” said Smart.

H Metro visited Chikwanha village and managed to get hold of Beauty who denied the allegations of bedding Tinashe saying her ex-husband is trying to find ways of ejecting her from their matrimonial home so as to accommodate his girlfriend.

“It started long back although my husband is now preaching a wrong gospel accusing me of cheating with Tinashe,” said Beauty.

“I was always against staying with Tinashe since we did not have enough rooms to accommodate him and our four children but Smart insisted on staying with him.

“Smart would always allow Tinashe to accompany me wherever he assigned us to go including attending church services during his absence. On the day that he says he caught us red handed, Tinashe and I decided to stay at home since we were tired. We had spent the whole night at church,” she said.

Beauty said Smart is framing stories and only wants to tarnish her image.

“He never caught us in a compromising position as he wants people to believe. He has since applied for a peace order; I am no longer allowed to stay at our Dzivarasekwa family home.

“He collected all my belongings and dumped them at my parents’ house during my absence,” said Beauty.

She also denied that she is using the surname Gono saying that it belongs to her boyfriend she has since parted ways with.

“I never fell in love with Tinashe neither do I use another name at this place but the Gono name that you heard about is my ex-boyfriend’s surname.

“I separated with him two weeks ago after discovering that he is married and I am now running the food vending business alone,” said Beauty.

Tinashe is reported to be in Masvingo and could not be reached for comment by the time of going to print. H Metro
