Dongo also revealed that his hit song “African Girl” from his latest album “Handisi Kumira” was a direct dedication to Ashley.

“She is the African girl that I was talking about on that song and wedding bells are just around the corner,

“Ndikuda kukurovai nesurprise attack . . . (I am going to surprise you). The wedding is going to be sooner than you might think,” he said.

Meanwhile, Dongo has released the video for the song “African Girl” that is expected to be a hit when it hit the big screen soon.

Though he has had a fair share of ups and downs since he shot to fame in the late 2000s, Dongo remains a force in the urban grooves genre.

He was once accused of impregnating an 18-year-old dancer early last year but he denied the allegations and claims Maumbe had already ‘stolen’ his heart.

Vocal-wise, Dongo effortlessly delivers the music to the people and there is no denying the fact that he surely knows how to rock his fans.

Those who have been following his music would attest to the fact that he is not getting enough recognition from the industry although he is talented basing with his performance at the Miss World Zimbabwe finals recently. The Herald
