Leaked video of naked SA pastor goes viral

Cape Town – A video allegedly showing popular Pastor Sthembiso Zondo naked has caused a social media frenzy.

Zondo, best known for his motivational talks on Ukhozi FM’s Breakfast Show on Tuesdays, had people talking for all the wrong reasons.

The video posted by the Daily Sun sees a man unknowingly filmed by a female companion while he talks on the phone casually walking around in his home in his birthday suit.

According to Drum, this is not the first time Zondo has made headlines.

He has been in involved in a well publicised row with former DJ Linda ‘Mr Magic’ Sibiya over money and other reports have claimed that he likes to frequent brothels.

Meanwhile Ukhozi FM will launch an investigation into the video. SABC spokesperson for Ukhozi FM Kaizer Kganyago said the station had been made aware of the video, but he added its origins were still unknown.

A link to the video was first shared on Twitter from a Dropbox account, which has since been disabled due to the high volumes of traffic it attracted.

It was later removed from YouTube due to the alleged explicit content.

Kganyago added the leaking of the video was being handled as a personal matter and maintained the Durban pastor was not in any way at fault.

“Even if it is him in the video, what has he done wrong?,” Kganyago told The Citizen.

He added a way forward would be decided on by the station after the investigation has been completed.

“We will investigate the matter and see what impact it will have on Ukhozi and on the brand,” he said.

Meanwhile, a number of people on Twitter defended Zondo and shared messages of support. Channel 24/The Citizen
