According to KickOff.com Mutuma came to the PSL with a reputation of being a prolific goal scorer in Zimbabwe, but such was his struggles in the City of Roses that Siwelele masses were asking just how and why this lanky forward was even signed in the first place.

He once went on trials at Ajax Cape Town but wasn’t signed before eventually winning a contract at Celtic at the beginning of 2013.

Just weeks into signing, some Celtic officials were already whispering words of doubts about their new arrival, and the writing was on the wall before the end of that year, with Mutuma shown the door just 12 months into his three-and-a-half-year contract.

Though he is generally a decent footballer, Mutuma’s tendency to always want the team to play according to the way he wants is his greatest downfall.
