Zimbabwean man dies in UK car crash

UNITED KINGDOM – A 47-year-old Zimbabwean man Dali Nxusani (sa Mike) passed away in a fatal road accident on the A35 near Dorchester on Monday.
Two passengers, a 39-year-old man and a 69-year-old woman, both from Yeovil, sustained life-threatening injuries and remain in a critical condition.
The woman is in Southampton hospital while the man was transferred to Poole Hospital after suffering severe facial injuries.
The crash happened just after 8am morning when a silver Rover and a blue Daihatsu collided head-on with each other. Nxusani who was driving the silver Rover, was declared dead at the scene by paramedics.
Two fire crews from Dorchester attended and used hydraulic cutting equipment to free two of the casualties from the cars.
Traffic Inspector Colin Bell said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this collision or the manner of driving of the Daihatsu or the Rover prior to the collision to contact investigating officer PC 738 Redmond on 101 quoting incident number 13:45.”
Nehanda Radio understands Nxusani was the club secretary for Marketside Football Club in Nottinghamshire.
