The outspoken artist tweeted his thoughts on the epidemic that has claimed the lives of over 4000 people mostly from West Africa and continues to spread.

Brown tweeted: “I don’t know … But I think this Ebola epidemic is a form of population control. S*** is getting crazy bruh.”

Since the artist posted the tweet yesterday, it has been retweeted 28, 260.

Possibly realising what he had said, Brown quickly added in another tweet, “Let me shut my black a** up!”

However instead of deleting the tweet, the singer chose to leave it on his timeline.

While some view Browns theory as ‘interesting’, others feel that we should consult a more authoritative source for information regarding Ebola.

“If you’re looking for reliable information on the Ebola Virus, try the CDC, not Chris Brown’s conspiracy theory tweets,” said MTV News.

Love him or hate him, Brown’s music is still very popular racking up seven nominations, including best R&B/soul male artist and song of the year for “Loyal” for the Soul Train Awards.
