Amakhosi lifted the MTN8 trophy in Durban on Saturday after beating arch-rivals Orlando Pirates, and they will resume league action as the current table toppers.

The Zimbabwe international has been buoyed by the Soweto side’s early season success and he has promised the club’s faithful more titles.

“You know some supporters will always be like that. I can’t say anything about them and the only thing I need to tell them is let’s keep on supporting the team and it is not a one-man show, it is a collective effort,” Nkhatha said.

“To all supporters, we will give you the result. The coach knows everybody. We all make mistakes when you are playing, so he always tells us that ‘make mistake it’s fine but don’t keep on doing the same mistake’.

“Every player at Chiefs is part of the winning team and no matter what, if you are sitting on the grand stand or in the bench, you are still part of the team.

“So we are normal to the other guys. As long as the team that is starting is doing well because we trained every day with everybody. We are given a challenge to do well and it’s good to be a Chiefs’ player now once again,” he added.

Chiefs are yet to drop points in the league, with an encounter against Maritzburg United next at FNB Stadium on Saturday night their next assignment. Football411.com
