Former ‘Scandal’ star Columbus Short arrested again

Former star of the show Scandal was arrested for public intoxication Friday night while at the Katy Trail Ice House, police said.

Police confirmed Columbus Short, 31, was arrested at the bar in the 3100 block of Routh Street in Oak Lawn.

TMZ reported a security guard approached Short after it looked like he was leaving without paying his tab.

According to TMZ, a fight broke out after Short began yelling at the security guard and reportedly accused the guard of racism. Several off-duty police officers tried to break up the fight, before arresting Short.

An employee at the Katy Trail Ice House had no comment.

Short, who played Harrison Wright on the ABC show, was fired in April.
