Zimbabwean man dies in Leeds car crash

Leeds, UK – A 24-year-old Zimbabwean man, Trust Nqobile Tshuma, died after a car crash on the westbound Leeds Inner Ring Road in the early hours of Saturday morning. He was a final year student at Huddersfield University.

According to a report by the Yorkshire Post the incident saw the blue Vauxhall Corsa he was travelling in collide with the boundary wall while heading towards Armley Gyratory at around 4am.

Another 23-year-old man, who was also in the car, Thabo Sinini Ngwenya, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Leeds General Infirmary where he is in a stable condition.

Police Constable Wayne Mason, of the police’s Major Collision Enquiry Team, said:

“We are appealing for witnesses to this incident and anyone who saw the collision or the car just prior to it should contact myself at the Major Collision Enquiry Team on 101.”
