Excavator operator buried in Hwange Colliery accident – #NehandaCitizenReports

A serious accident has happened at Hwange Colliery Company opencast mine this morning at around 5:30am were an excavator operator Matindike has been buried alive by loose material as he was loading dump trucks.

The operator was given an instruction by his supervisor.

Due to non payment of salaries, no mining plans, working in this mine has been a healthy hazard for long as management always gives a blind eye and are interested in looting.

As of now (9:13am) there is no single rescue team in the mine and the man is still buried.
