SOUTH AFRICA – Former Manchester City and Zimbabwe Warriors striker Benjani Mwaruwari believes his current side, Bidvest Wits, have a good chance at silverware in South Africa, as they are in a good position in the premier league and the Nedbank Cup.
“We have been unlucky this year for the two games we have lost but all the players have put that aside and brought back their confidence as we are on a winning streak.
“Wits have a lot of skilful and experienced players who will definitely make the team conquer this season especially under the tutelage of one of the most successful coaches in the league, Gavin Hunt,” Benjani said.
Playing alongside Benjani at Wits are fellow Zimbabweans Tinashe Nengomasha, Thomas Sweswe, Onismor Bhasera and Denver Mukamba.
