Twenty-one year old model Annette Lungile Sibanda is flying the Zimbabwean flag as the country’s representative in the “Face of Africa Germany” beauty pageant set for the 4th of April this year.
According to the organisers the pageant was created “to discover young ladies who have the talent in modeling and remodel them into Modern African Woman to promote Africa Fashion, Culture, Tourism, Beauty and Lifestyle in Germany.”
The trainee nurse said: “I have a passion for modeling, but more importantly, I’m set on pinning Zimbabwe on the top of the German fashion industry map. My dream is to inspire young women to pursue their dreams.”
“My favorite quote of all time is ‘God’s delays are not God’s denials’. I believe it is God’s test of patience and level of commitment. I am absolutely proud and honored to work with such an innovative, creative FOAG Team finding African Beauty and grooming us to be more innovative women in our society,” she said.
