He was part of Zimbabwe’s CHAN squad and played three games, scoring twice for the Warriors in their game against Mali.

Sithole is a former Masvingo Christian College star player and is How Mine FC’s top goal-scorer with six goals to his name this season, helping them to finish as runners-up in the Mbada Diamonds Cup to qualify for the 2014 CAF Confederations Cup.

“Simba is a robust player in and around the penalty area. He is quick, strong on his feet and is not afraid to take on defenders in a one-one situation,” said Ajax caretaker coach Ian Taylor.

“Sithole likes to be involved in the game, is very mobile in possession and his height will enhance Ajax’s aerial capabilities.” Sport24.co.za
