Over 52 percent cast their vote for the mystery “Robin Hood” character who some say ‘steals’ information from the rich and powerful to share with the poor and marginalized.

Journalist Lance Guma interviewed Baba Jukwa.

Lance Guma: On the 22nd of March 2013 you created the Baba Jukwa Facebook page and within 10 months you have a staggering 389 048 followers and growing. What do you attribute your success to?

Baba Jukwa: Lance to be blunt with you the people who have created this success are ironically the very same evil abusers of society who in actual fact have brewed their own poison while thinking they can get away with murder.

Guma: Your moto “Concerned father, fighting nepotism and directly linking community with their Leaders, Government, MPs and Ministers” provides a useful insight into your motives. Do you feel you have achieved them so far?

Baba Jukwa: I think I have achieved far much more than that but still there is so much more to be achieved in the coming few weeks and months. For a long time the people of Zimbabwe have been subjected to oppression and bullying by people who think they are more human than others merely because they have either money or power.

This is now history in the archives and we have a new fresh and clean Zimbabwe now emerging out of this whole bloody chaos, open your eyes and see it before you are left behind!!!

Guma: The death of former Mines Minister and Zanu PF MP Edward Chindori-Chininga remains a key talking point for many who are not satisfied with the manner of his passing. Are there any new leads you have uncovered?

Baba Jukwa: There is so much information to be sure that his death was murder. I will give you an example, where are the 4 people or so called passengers who were in that car and were also seen by the villagers?  Why is it that my party has kept quiet on them? Why are their names not known to this day? That is where all your answers are Lance.

Guma: Your archrival Amai Jukwa disappeared from Facebook without notice. Did that surprise you and do you know the reasons behind the page being pulled down?

Baba Jukwa: I have no clue what happened to that woman all that I got to know of was that she had disappeared into thin air. I was not involved at all and neither was she a threat to my work.

Guma: Currently the health of President Robert Mugabe is making news with you having posted that he had collapsed. Zanu PF was forced to issue a denial. What are your sources saying about happened?

Baba Jukwa: There is so much cover-up by the intelligence at present but please do understand I never said Mugabe has died. I only give you the facts as I see and hear them.

Guma: What’s your prediction on who will succeed President Robert Mugabe within Zanu PF?

Baba Jukwa: What Didymus (Mutasa) told you is the truth. They are lining up Joyce (Mujuru) to take over, however will that happen?

Guma: What are your thoughts on what needs to be done to fix Zimbabwe and get the country back to what it was before the political and economic crisis?

Baba Jukwa: The country at present should not be run by these selfish politicians. How I wish Mr. Mugabe will appoint people who have a credible record and are not bent on self-gain.

But I will comment once again and say if Mugabe is to really gain his respect he must deal with people like Philip Chiyangwa, Savior Kasukuwere and Obert Mpofu, and he should reward stable leaders like Francis Nhema.

Asijiki! Ndatenda.  Baba Jukwa
