Betty Makoni on ‘Rapist’ Pastor Gumbura

Betty Makoni opens a hotline on her Never Again Radio show where many women and girls who were abused or witnessed Pastor Martin Gumbura abusing female church members open up as a way to raise awareness and prevent such abuse again. 

Some believe the charges against Gumbura are just a tip of the iceberg. Gumbura’s alleged rape victims are many and some were his students. In UK he has some members in Leeds and one of his elders forced a girl into marriage.

But again the question remains as to who allowed him to operate such a sex slave church just like the one by Johane Marange and why have the marriage laws not been harmonised to protect women and girls?
