More chaos continued to dog Zanu PF provincial elections on Saturday with shortages of voting material being reported in several areas.
National chairman Simon Khaya Moyo announced the results of six provincial elections held yesterday with those for Mashonaland West taking longer to be announced Sunday evening. The polls are seen as key in deciding who succeeds the 89 year old President Robert Mugabe.

Provincial Chairman- Andrew Langa
Women’s League- Alice Dube
Youth League- Washington Ngomo
Harare
Provincial Chairman- Amos Midzi
Women’s League- Angeline Matambanadzo
Youth League- Godfrey Gomwe
Matabeleland North
Provincial Chairman- Richard Moyo
Women’s League- Mediline Bhebhe
Youth League- Tamuka Nyoni
Masvingo
Provincial Chairman- Callisto Gwanetsa
Women’s League- Shyllet Uyoyo
Youth League- Oliver Huruva
Mashonaland West
Themba Mliswa beat Philip Chiyangwa for the chairmanship of Mashonaland West province. The Hurungwe West legislator garnered 9185 votes to beat five other contenders.
Chiyangwa polled 7621 votes.
The Women’s League will now be chaired by Constance Shamu after she beat the incumbent, Sarah Mahoka by 4532 votes to 3219. The chairmanship for the Youth League was won by Vengi Musengi.
