Man tells court wife slept with best friend

A HARARE man says he has not been on talking terms with his former wife ever since the day he caught her in bed with his best friend. 

Never Tako said that he has cut all communication with his former wife Linah Kamunyaru whom he caught in an uncompromising position with his best friend. Never bared it all at the Harare Civil Court where he was taken by Linah who was seeking a protection order against him.

“I have not been communicating with this woman as she alleges, I last talked to her the day when I caught her red handed with my best friend, since then I have never communicated with her,” said Never.

However, Linah told the court that she needed the protection order because Never was evicting her from the house.

“The reason I came to this court is because I am being harassed by my former husband; he always beats me up and he is chasing me out of our matrimonial home.

“We have mango and avocado trees at the house but he does not want me to take the fruits from the trees. He also bars me from fetching water from the borehole,” said Linah.

She also denied Never’s allegations that he caught her intimate with his best friend.

“He never caught me intimate with his friend and he has been spreading that lie as a way to justify how he is treating me at the house,” said Linah.

Meanwhile, Never told the court that Linah was lying that he was harassing her at the house.

“How could I harass someone whom I am not even staying with? She is not even staying at the house and there is an empty room at the house which she is free to occupy, said Never. H Metro
