Senior church members in love scandal

A love affair between a church elder and an intercessor-cum-usher has been exposed through Whatsapp and G-Mail.

The relationship between Anesu Mushonga- an elder at Seventh Day Adventist Church, Makokoba in Bulawayo and Shaynee Mbizi an intercessor at AFM in Harare was exposed when Lucia Mushonga-wife to Anesu-stumbled upon love messages between the two.

Mushonga works for Religious Bakers in Bulawayo while Shaynee works at Carswell Meats along Willowvale Road in Harare. Lucia said she had access to her hubby’s g-mail account and Whatsapp in December last year where she learnt of the shenanigans between the two people of the clergy.

“My husband forgets to log out and most of the time I get access to his accounts where I get to know of what will be happening with his mistress. My husband lied to her (Shaynee) that he was not married; he said he was a divorcee,” she said.

Lucy further said that Shaynee sends some pictures to her husband and some messages begging for money. “She demands money from my husband,” she said. Meanwhile Lucia confronted the woman who expressed victory over her.

“Murume wenyu ndakatomufuridzira; he will dance to my tune.

“Netsanai ikoko musanetse inini.”

“They started dating since last year up to now and Shaynee is an intercessor at their church. She prays for church programs.

“She always tells me that my husband is a fool; hanzi murume wangu akapusa,” added Lucia.

However, Lucia indicated that she confronted her husband about the issue and he dismissed the issue as things of the past. Shayness has been sending some messages to Lucia:

Lucia said her husband had told her that he had stopped the relationship with Shayness.

“Akandiudza kuti zvakapera kare asi vachiri kungoramba vachidanana, ini ndanetawo nazvo,” she said.

Lucia however vows to continue with the affair; “ah mati madii nhai amai uyu ndiye wandisingasiiyi he z dancing according to ma tune muchanyarara henyu amai. Taurai zvenyu zvese zvamunoda anesu handimusiyi.”

H-Metro caught up with Anesu who refuted the whole saga citing that they were having problems in their marriage.

“I do not believe in polygamy; Shayness is just a friend. There are no strings attached. We had some problems with my wife before and during that time I hung out with many friends and it appear’s that when she suspected me of having some affairs.

“Initially we separated and later mended our differences for the purpose of our children. There is nothing between me and Shayness we are just friends,” he said.

“If she no longer loves me she is free to go and I can move on. If she is the one who told you tell her that when I get home she must have moved out,” fumed Anesu.

He further added that:

“I went through hell for years now maybe this is my time of deliverance. Many people were very happy when my marriage was in shambles.”

H-Metro tracked down Shayness at her work place in Willowvale and she indicated that she was married with three children. On her Facebook page, Shayness alleges that she is married, which H-Metro could not prove by the time of going to print.

“We are friends. Initially we met on Facebook with Anesu and since then we have been chatting,” she said:

Asked on the pictures she sends to Anesu, Shayness said:

“Anesu requested to see my pictures and I send them to him. I told him that I am from a Pentecostal church and we became good friends until now.”

Shayness resides in Avondale with her family as she claims. The love birds see each other when Anesu is assigned to Harare.

However, Lucia and Anesu have been married for ten years and they are blessed with three children. According to Lucia the pair started a serious relationship last year in December when Anesu was frequenting Harare for business. He was introduced to Shayness by his friend and they started dating. H Metro
