LONDON – For over 10 years activists from the Zimbabwe Vigil have been protesting at the Zimbabwean embassy in London. But did you know the Zimbabwe Vigil also has a band that sings pro-democracy songs?
Members of the Zimbabwe Vigil band (Dumi Tutani and Farai Marema) have released a brand new self-titled album to complement their pro-democracy efforts. In an interview with Nehanda Radio, band member Tutani said:
“This album is dedicated to all human rights activists who have died fighting for justice and human rights in Zimbabwe and the world over. The songs urge activists to carry on the fight against the oppressive regime in Zimbabwe.”
