Lets pen Mugabe out of self-imposed power

There is a Russian proverb that warns, ‘Do not spit into the well that you may need to drink out of.’

South Africa’s opposition and Democratic Alliance(DA) leader Helen Zille made the dumbest gaffe this year when she referred to Eastern Cape pupils flocking to the Western Cape for better education as ‘refugees.’

United States Republican Party(GOP) presidential candidate and political flip-flopper Mitt Romney was recorded as saying that 47% of Americans did not matter to him as he could not convince them to take personal responsibility and take care of their lives.

Back home, dictator and murderer Robert Mugabe massacred more than 20,000 Ndebeles during the Gukurahundi era. A few years after, he confessed that those were the crazy years!

On Africa Day in 2005, Robert Mugabe began a crackdown on the poor shackdwellers with ‘Operation Murambatsvina,’ and according to United Nations estimates it affected at least 700,000 people directly through the loss of their homes or livelihood, and thus could have indirectly affected around 2.4 million people.

At the same time the dictator publicly lies to us, the police and the army continue to terrorise Zimbabweans on a daily basis.

Political chameleon Jonathan Moyo is notorious for crafting the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act (AIPPA), and the Public Order and Security Act (POSA). The unacademic professor with an egg-shaped head will sue anybody trying to remind him of his former true self that used to berate Robert Mugabe for his iron-fisted rule.

Press Secretary in the president’s office and Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information, George Charamba, who writes under the pseudonym Nathaniel Manheru, continues to torture the intelligence of innocent Zimbabweans with his evil ink that urinates drivel in Mugabe’s propagandist media.

Recently, Robert Mugabe shocked the whole world when he pretended to be a peaceful man. This unfortunately comes at a moment his soldiers keep disturbing opposition party rallies, especially the MDC. How will we know this time around that his rants are not mere ‘craziness,’ just like those crazy Gukurahundi killings?

Zimbabweans have become used to Mugabe’s antics to confuse and fool them whenever election time approaches. It is becoming too obvious that the next government will not be ZANU(PF), therefore Mugabe is now toning down his messages in the hope of enticing the electorate.

As we gather more energy to pen Mugabe out of self-imposed power, ZANU (PF) spammers have embarked on a massive campaign to attack our online publications and free-thinking, independent media. How peaceful then are these acts?

It is proven that if it wasn’t for the Government of National Unity(GNU), many Zimbabweans could have died from hunger. Then why does Robert Mugabe expect us to suddenly switch sides and trust him when he caused poverty, and has previously slaughtered our families and friends and displaced many?

The time is now to be vigilant and brave Mugabe’s security agents! We should not be frightened when the barrel of the gun is pointed in our faces! The time is now to fight a fight with a fight! The time is now for all patriotic Zimbabweans to rebel against the illegitimate president!

We should never allow past events to repeat themselves. When we vote, we should not submit to the soldiers’ and police uniforms that we meet along the way.

The war of liberation came and went and Britain left us to run our own affairs. Only a violent person will keep thinking about staging wars. Nobody should keep reminding us of past wars when we are struggling to put food on the table. Nobody in their real senses listens to history on an empty stomach!

Robert Mugabe remains the same liar that promised to reconcile with the whites but later spit his venom on them. Robert Mugabe is still the same horny bastard who salivated for his married former secretary and abused his powers into bedding her.

Robert Mugabe is the same unrepentant, wrinkled wizard who bewitches the poor in broad daylight. Robert Mugabe is the same old fool who sent thugs and war veterans to grab white farmers’ land in a clear case of demagoguery.

It should not matter to us whether there are two or three divisions of the MDC. It should not be a concern that Morgan and Welshman belong in different political paths. It should not be a hindrance that opposition parties keep clawing at each other’s paws.

What matters in the next election is your vote. Voting for any other opposition other than ZANU (PF) is the only better choice. It is only after the elections that we shall decide a way forward. We should ensure that the notorious party does not garner enough votes to constitute a majority.

We should ensure that we do away with voter apathy.

Another Russian saying goes, ‘Ахал бы дядя, на себя глядя.’ – English translation, ‘The devil rebuking sin.’

Literal meaning: The uncle would better gasp looking at himself. Imagine Robert Mugabe, a Satanic agent ‘rebuking sin,’ yet he has thousands and thousands of skulls hanging around his neck and waist!
