Picture: Tsvangirai new wife with mother in law

Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai’s new wife Elizabeth Macheka can be seen with her new mother in law Mbuya Tsvangirai in Buhera. Tsvangirai’s spokesman Luke Tamborinyoka confirmed the PM had paid lobola for Macheka and a ceremony was held in Buhera last week to welcome her into the family.

This week Tsvangirai formally introduced Macheka to President Robert Mugabe and Vice President Joice Mujuru at State House. The introduction took place shortly before their routine Monday meeting of Principals in the coalition. Last month Tsvangirai engaged to Macheka at a private function in Harare.
