Dynamos clinch title after 2-0 win over Kiglon

Southern Africa’s most successful club Dynamos clinched the Castle Lager Premiership title on Sunday after dispatching relegated Kiglon 2-0 at Rufaro Stadium in Harare. The win was their 18th title all in all. Dynamos have been sitting on 17 league titles, since ending a 10-year-wait for the premier prize four years ago.

Their nearest rival FC Platinum tied with them on the same points but a poorer goal difference beat Shooting Stars 3-1 at Gwanzura.

On the scoresheet for Dynamos was Rodreck Mutuma who scored with the last kick of the first half. Two minutes from time saw Guthrie Zhokinyi secure the victory when he nodded in David Kutyauripo’s free-kick.
