Dynamos beat battling Highlanders 3-1

Dynamos went some way to making up for the surprise defeat to Masvingo last week by beating bitter rivals Highlanders 3-1 in a premiership football match at Rufaro Stadium on Sunday.  The win moved Dynamos to within a point of pacesetters FC Platinum who are on 49 points from 26 matches after losing 2-1 to Gunners on Saturday.

A brace from Rodreck Mutuma and another goal from Martin Vengesayi who sealed the fate for the visitors by placing the ball to the far right corner of the post, after profiting from a wonderful delivery from the left by Denver Mukamba.

It was not all plain sailing for Dembare who had to come from behind after Highlanders had raced into the lead with Eric Mudzingwa finding the back of the net three minutes into the match.
