Cynthia Mare to open for Sean Paul in the UK
Headlines, News, Showbiz — By admin on August 4, 2011 1:07 amSultry RnB singer Cynthia Mare will be flying the Zimbabwean flag on Thursday evening in Bristol at the O2 Academy in the UK where she will perform live as one of the supporting acts for Jamaican dancehall sensation Sean Paul.
It was only in June that Cynthia took her first steps to striking it big in Nigeria after travelling there to perform at the ‘Touch of a Genius’ 2Face Tribute held at the Sincilla Hotel in Victoria Island in Lagos.

July was an unkind month for the singer as she lost her mum in Zimbabwe. The Sean Paul concert will be her first engagement since travelling to Zimbabwe for the funeral. Cynthia told Nehanda Radio.com she was looking forward to reuniting with Paul, after performing with him in Zimbabwe last year.
Writing on Facebook earlier in the day she said “Hey my good people!!! I’m back in the UK. Thanks so much for all your support during my recent ordeal of losing mom. I’m back now and my first stop is The Sean Paul show tomorrow 4th Aug in Bristol at the O2 Academy. I will be performing live.”
Speaking to Nehanda Radio.com during one of her rehearsals Cynthia said she planned on singing ‘Catch me when I fall’, ‘Girls in the Club’ and a surprise cover version. Sean Paul will also be backed by D Double E of ‘Street Fighter Riddim’ fame and Mz Bratt. Nehanda Radio.com
