THREE people were killed in an inferno, while 16 others were seriously burnt after a fuel tanker they were siphoning petrol from burst into flames following an accident in Sunningdale, Harare, on Saturday night.
Police suspect some people could have been burnt to ashes since there were many people draining fuel when the tanker exploded. Some of the 16 fire victims were admitted at Harare Central Hospital where their condition is said to be critical.
