Zvawonekwa Dare

Revolutionary greetings to fellow Zimbabweans in the name of Dare.

We are humbled by the overwhelming number of phone calls, emails, and visitors from all walks of life who all came to number 45 Kilmarnock Close, being the offices of Dare. We thank you all for your unwavering support.

Now we hear that there are some who are planning to stone the DARE offices in a desperate bid to destroy all the evidence of their evil doings which is safely kept at the Dare offices. We wish to warn all the detractors of justice that no amount of fear will deter Dare to stand and speak out against corruption, nepotism and patronage.

After the Dare Indaba that was held two weeks ago and passed resolutions with regards to the SST saga, Dare is pleased to announce to you that Trust Mutowe is finally a free man, at least in as far as the theft case that hung over him for the past month is concerned. On Thursday the 25th of November, Trevor Murai withdrew his case against Mutowe before the case could go to trial.

Dare notes, but not with much concern this move which is a clear admission on the part of those that instigated the case in the first place that their case did not hold any water but was a mere case of those with money trying to fix the poor. This is just but another case in which the Lord Almighty has shown that He is always on the side of the poor and oppressed of the world.

Dare salutes all the gallant fellows that stood by Mutowe as the forces of evil threatened to crush this poor fellow, albeit after using and abusing him for so long. In the words of Tupac Amaru Shakur ‘let the Lord judge the criminals.’

We are now moving a gear forward in reclaiming what has been taken from us by those that seek to usurp and suck the blood of the poor. There are some however who thought that Dare was their personal property but let they be informed that Dare is a movement of convicted and committed cadres who are fighting against all forms of repression, oppression, dictatorship, corruption, nepotism and all forms of human rights abuse.

After receiving cheap pieces of silver from the so –called Godfathers, they unashamedly dumped the organisation in exchange for silver and gold. Those who have remained have stood the test of time in resisting bribes so as to suffocate the voice of the voiceless.

The events of this past weeks have been quite interesting as we saw Masimba Nyamanhindi and his handlers trying unsuccessfully to put their house in order. Dare would like to commend all fellows for remaining focused and united against all forces of aggression who tried unsuccessfully to buy some comrades using cheap pieces of silver acquired from stealing donor funds.

However, Dare is disturbed to note that again Masimba Nyamanhindi obviously under the instruction of his handler the usual suspect McDonald Lewanika convened a bogus SST strategic meeting at the flamboyant and expensive Imba Matombo Lodge from Friday to Monday. To whose cost was all these expenses attached to, DARE wonders? What gobbles one’s mind is the composition of those in attendance in trying to find a lasting solution to the problems bedevilling our dear institution, let alone the choice of the venue.

McDonald Lewanika (left) and Masimba-Nyamanindi (right)

Dare is informed that it was only the SST secretariat guys, a few members of the so-called board, 3 fellows namely Jimmy Wilford? Mfundo Mlilo (McDonald Lewanika’s current PA) and Evernice Munando, two silver lovers in the mould of Kurayi Hoyi and Obert Masaraure (2 serious lovers of silver, who are prepared to bootlick and ‘asslick’ for the love of gold and silver) and a few senior comrades in the struggle who bulldozed their way to the venue.

These Obert Masaraure and Kurai Hoyi fellows are one amazing bunch of serious mercenaries who for the love of silver chose to betray the students union after being promised a $10 000 grant from a donor agency. Ironically the money was supposed to be channelled through Masimba Nyamanhindi at the SST. Seriously speaking guys who believes that these two sycophants can be called ZINASU, let alone represent students’ interests at such a meeting. They have been presiding over nothing but confusion.

Despite the fact that all the people in attendance being Harare residents and the majority being married people, DARE was shocked to realise that they were all booked at this lodge for the obvious reason for these guys to enjoy themselves with ladies of the night, drinking beer as has become the norm at most civic of SST gatherings. To say the least civic society workshops have been reduced to beer drinking fests were prostitution is rife.

It’s now a fact that every time there is a gathering of this nature in town, business will be brink in  places like Tipperary, Razzles (now closed), Pinsao  and indeed memorable days that prostitutes in Harare would always want to remember. This is the same like what usually happens at the annual Gorden Moyo’s Ideas Festival which has been renamed ‘Sex Festival,’ with no ideas but sex being the major act at the festival.   What culture are we nurturing to society? One wonders.

Coming back to the Imba Matombo meeting, we really wonder how those in attendance wanted to solve the SST crisis without engaging and involving the membership/intended beneficiaries of the organization, in this case being the fellows. Dare is reliably informed that some secretariat members castigated the unlawful arrest of Mutowe under the instruction of Simbarashe Moyo and colleagues. Can it be that maybe Trust turned down Moyo’s sexual advances as we all know Moyo’s unusual sexual orientation and his gay tendencies?

No-one knows and Dare is yet to find out. Sources from the meeting said that one of them , a long time member of the secretariat complained about the abuse of resources by the so-called senior management but fingered out one thief, Trevor Murai, as a ‘mafikizolo’ who despite only having joined the organization recently was in the wanton habit of abusing organizational resources. We all know that after serving ‘loyally’ for years in SST, handling resources Rachel Matatare was demoted to the post of being a mere receptionist by McDonald Lewanika after he had recruited his best friend, Brighton Mavhusa to the post of Finance and Administration.

The Imba Matombo meeting to say the least was a non event and a sheer waste of time and resources because it was illegitimate and bogus. The issue at SST cannot be solved by the secretariat and board members alone but by all genuine fellows who are the major stakeholders in the organisation. Dare will be meeting at its Headquarters in Belvedere to come up with dates for the fellows Indaba. The meeting will only be open for genuine fellows and we hope to chart the way forward with regards to the operations of the Trust.

NB: Secretariat members are barred from attending this meeting and they can only do so at their own peril. A press conference will be held after this crucial meeting

Crisis within a Crisis

The corrupt practices at the Crisis in Zimbabwe Coalition as reported by a story that appeared in the Newsday (11 Nov 2010) is a cause for concern. Dare last week had highlighted the matter and fortunately or unfortunately it has since spilled to the media. The story quoted a petition by a senior member of the secretariat challenging the unethical conduct by Lewanika when he appointed himself coordinator of the coalition.   Dare hopes that the case be finalised with the urgency its deserves and advises the chain smoking former SST boss to do the honourable thing or risk embarrassment.

The Shonhe Sex Scandal- Leg for a job policy

The case of MDC director general Toendepi Shonhe who was caught pants down with someone’s wife (Sandra) his subordinate at Harvest House cannot go un commented. What the so-called DG did was a breach of one God’s Ten Commandment, Number 7, Thou shall not commit adultery. Words from the streets have it that the woman in question ‘Sandra’ is of loose morals, and has slept with more than a dozen men in the party.

It seems most senior members at party head quarters ‘harvested’ the lady. Also Shonhe is known for having several adulterous affairs with his subordinates, another one being a lady called Rumbi who works in the Finance department and an unnamed lady who works as an administrator at the Bulawayo MDC offices.

At our last Indaba, DARE condemned those in authority who are abusing  women by offering them jobs for sexual favours. Dare noted the goings on at SST where some board members who are working in foreign embassies who are engaging in these shameful evil acts. In the MDC specifically the SG’s office and the PM’s office, a ‘leg for a job’ policy seems popular there.

Most females who are now working in these two offices are former or current girlfriends of their supervisors. Dare has it on good record that a one Donald Chirunga, Director of Elections at Harvest House has been harvesting a married woman, Patricia Jambani (who works in the MDC regalia shop at Harvest House). Not to be outdone is the Minister of State in the Prime Office the whisky guzzler, Jameson Timba who is also bonking a one Yvonne Mashayamombe an employee in the Prime Minister’s Office. Another culprit being the former USAID employee Jacob Mafume who  is notorious  for keeping the zip of his trousers open.

After moving from Crisis Coalition, where he  went on a spirited sexual escapade sleeping with almost all female employees at the organisation. For years Mafume (a married man) used his authority at Crisis abusing innocent female students on internship exchanging them like under wears. Who doesn’t know his long standing adulterous affair with a girl called Melody Mazarura, whom she has been bonking since she came for internship at the troubled coalition.

When the man left USAID going to the PM’s office, Mafume took her on board, and this Melody girl of Jacob Mafume is now working in the PM’s office.   Dare challenges the MDC president to weed out all these unscrupulous elements who are tarnishing the image of the party employing the unscrupulous, ‘leg for a job’ policy.

The Crisis Saga and the Grand Plan

It also came to the light to Dare that Shonhe is being used as a front man by Tendai Biti in his bid to oust party leader Morgan Tsvangirai at the next congress. Biti’s blue eyed boys are occupying strategic positions at Harvest House and other civic organisations like Crisis in Zimbabwe Coalition and are reportedly working hard to muscle him to the throne. He has been using his links with a Zimbabwean USAID employee in getting funding for Biti’s campaign and the resources were being channelled  through the Crisis in Zimbabwe Coalition and being administered by McDonald Lewanika.

Inside sources at  the Coalition said that McDonald ordered 10 000 radios for the party, which however  were secretly distributed to those who are sympathetic to the SG through the instructions of Shonhe in their grand plan. Biti’s plan is being hatched by the American government and if the reports from the ‘Wikileaks’ that Biti is a better leader than MT are true,   MT needs to tell the so-called handlers that the MDC is a people’s movement and not an American or British project.  You all know how they stopped funding the PM’s newsletter after Shonhe was manhandled by MDC youths. Dare will be publishing a detailed dossier  of Biti’s grand but ‘dangerous plan’ to unseat MT. Keep on watching this space for details.

Finally Dare wishes to put to light a corrupt employee of an American Funding organisation called USAID, Washington Katema who has been using his workplace status to get sex from ladies in the civic society claiming that he can give them funding. Dare wants to warn people in the civic society and the general public that this Washington Katema is not in any position to influence or even to give any grants at USAID. So be warned next time this womaniser knocks on your door soliciting for sex just refuse him.

As Dare we are concerned that Washington Katema is neglecting his beautiful wife, Hilda whom he once infected with an STI  last year in August. A look at Hilda today, you wonder if  this is the once beautiful former MSU student who has since grown thin whilst the husband Katema is growing fat, an indication that she is being starved and abused by this cruel man. God forbid! He rarely goes home whilst enjoying ‘hotel life’ with prostitutes. At some instances he only goes home to change clothes but on most cases he prefers to buy new clothes to avoid going home. Icho!!!
