Pictures — By admin on November 16, 2010 1:07 pmScores of people converged in Harare at the New Ambassador Hotel attending the Inaugural Samora Machel Public Lecture to celebrate the life of a gallant revolutionary and loyal son of Africa, the late Mozambican President Samora Moïsés Machel who was killed in a plane crash on the 19th of October 1986.
The theme for this year’s commemoration was, The Struggle for Democracy, Freedom and Social Economic Justice in Zimbabwe Continues!!
The event, organized by the National Constitutional Assembly was attended by officials from the Mozambican embassy, and activists from across the political divide. Below are pictures from the event courtesy of Tabani Moyo.
