Bulawayo man beaten for masturbating in kombi

A daring Bulawayo man was thoroughly beaten last Friday by passengers after they allegedly caught him masturbating while sitting next to a hapless woman he had propositioned on a commuter omnibus which was travelling to Nketa suburb.

According to the driver of the kombi (number plate ABJ 1250) the unidentified man had made advances to a female passenger who was scantly dressed” but was turned down, resulting in him telling the woman that her attire had aroused him.

The man, who was sitting next to the woman, then allegedly exposed his penis to the woman to prove that it was erect, before he began “handling himself” in full view of other passengers.

The driver, Mr Jabulani Ncube, said: “I was playing music loudly on my
way to Nketa. Everything was fine and the trip promised to be uneventful as a lot of passengers were dropping off without complaints. But when I was  nearing Nketa 9 with only a few passengers left, I heard a woman screaming from the back of the kombi while other passengers were shouting. I was forced to stop the kombi when I realised that the passengers had ganged up to hit a man.”

Mr Ncube then tried to save the man from further beating but stopped when he was told, much to his disgust and shock, that the man was at the receiving end of the blows because he was caught in the act of masturbation.

“After my conductor and I got wind of what the man had done we had no choice but to join the passengers in beating the hell out of him. We removed him from the bus and taught him a lesson; wherever he is he will never do it again. I have been a kombi driver for a long time and I have ferried a lot of crazy people but this is out of this world, even now I cannot believe it,” he said.

Mr Ncube revealed that upon being questioned, the man, believed to be in the early 30s, denied that he was sexually gratifying himself and said he was scratching his groin area as it was itching.

“The man said his private parts were itching but when we asked him why he had removed his penis from the trousers he failed to give us a satisfactory answer. In fact, what he was saying did not make a lot of sense and we concluded that he was mentally ill because a normal person could not do that. That is why we let him go,” said Mr Ncube.

The driver also revealed that the woman, who was the victim, cried throughout the whole drama.

“The woman could not control herself. She had to be consoled by two female passengers while we were beating up the man. Who cannot blame her; anyone would have shed a tear after being sexually violated as she was. But I should also say that that woman was not well dressed at all. She was wearing a mini skirt and a top which revealed her cleavage in spite of the cold weather. She should learn to dress well because if she does not a lot of perverted man are going to continue harassing her.” African Aristocrat.com
