One of the most wanted players in the English third tier league, Zimbabwean left back Onismor Bhasera has extended his contract with Plymouth Argyle by an extra year.

A sensational start to his career at the Football League One club has fuelled interest from several clubs including English Championship League side Queens Park Rangers. The club refused to sell him and now they have succeeded in extending his original deal by a year up to 2013.

Speaking to the Plymouth Argyle official website manager Peter Reid spoke in glowing terms about the 24 year old Zimbabwean who can play in different positions including full-back and in midfield.

“He is a skilful player. It’s always pleasing to have a good player secured at the club. It’s good for the manager to have players that can play in different positions and he has done really well so far,” Reid said.
