Miss Tourism Samantha Tshuma gets Lexus

Reigning Miss Tourism Zimbabwe, Samantha Tshuma, last week received the keys to her new car, a Lexus ES300 from Oketex Investments, along with other prizes topping US$ 37 000 in value.

The presentation of the Lexus was part of a prize giving ceremony organised by the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority at which all the top models from Miss Tourism Zimbabwe 2009-2010 received their prizes.

The ceremony was held at the Rainbow Towers on the 31st March 2010. Minister of Women’s Affairs, Gender and Community Development, Olivia Muchana was the guest of Honour. Also in attendance were Minister of Tourism Walter Mzembi, Mrs Mzembi, acting CEO of the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) Mr Givemore Chidzidzi, CEO of the ZTA (currently on leave) Mr Karikoga Kaseke, Patron of the Miss Zimbabwe Trust, Kiki Divaris, businessman Phillip Chiyangwa, families of the models and other guests.

Miss G-Tide Face of Zimbabwe – Michelle Gonah

Will represent G-Tide mobile phones in Zimbabwe
Will be the face of G-Tide’s advertising campaigns
Will assist with marketing G-Tide products for a year and will be entitled to a consistent mobile phone upgrade.
Will have an office at Tendeseka Park in Harare
