Marondera — A Marondera businessman has been arrested for ganging up with five friends and allegedly taking turns to urinate in the mouth of a man they caught being intimate with his wife in the matrimonial house before severely assaulting him.
The five other men are on the run.
The incident took place on Tuesday evening in the Rujeko high-density suburb, when a house wife (26) was caught red handed with a lover (41) in the spare bedroom of their matrimonial home.
The businessman who runs a popular retail shop here, called his five friends from the same suburb and they urinated in the man’s mouth as punishment before they punched and kicked him.
Mashonaland East provincial police spokesman Inspector Bulisani Bhebe, confirmed the incident that took place around 7:30pm, but declined to disclose the names of the people involved.
Inspector Bhebe said on the day in question, the businessman found his wife and the lover in his spare bedroom pants down.
“The businessman, who was in the company of five men, pointed a pistol at the man, demanding to know what he was doing with his wife in his house.
“After failing to give a satisfactory answer, the businessman and his five friends took turns to urinate in his mouth,” said Insp Bhebe.
He said the six assaulted the man, who is a farmer near Marondera all over the body with open hands before releasing him.
The man went on to make a report at Marondera Central Police Station, where he narrated his ordeal, adding that he had lost his clothes and a Nokia N93 cellphone.
The businessman has been picked for questioning and will be charged with robbery and assault.
