Welshman & Priscilla hold up talks againNegotiators from the Mutambara MDC are once again holding up crucial unity government talks after Secretary General Welshman Ncube and his Deputy Priscilla Misihairambwi-Mushonga started another series of globe trotting trips.
Talks to break an impasse in the coalition government are currently being facilitated by a team of former cabinet ministers from South Africa. Last week a break in those talks was called to allow for Zanu PF to complete their 5-yearly congress.
But with that finally out of the way Justice Minister Patrick Chinamasa confirmed that some of the negotiators, were currently ’seized’ with Government business outside Zimbabwe.
“We have not yet discussed the day to resume the talks as we are currently waiting for the other negotiators to come back into the country,” he said.
“Professor Ncube and Minister (Priscilla) Misihairabwi-Mushonga are also out of the country on Government business. So, we are waiting for them to come back so that we set a date for the talks to resume.”
Last month the MDC led by Tsvangirai issued a hard hitting statement accusing members of the smaller faction of prioritising globe trotting at the expense of engaging in the negotiations.
Ncube and Mushonga however hit back saying they had availed themselves to the other party negotiators but were told their colleagues also had commitments during that period.
Is it not strange that Welshman is always making trips with Priscilla. Is there something going on!!!!!!!!!!!! Hmmmmmm
Nothing going on! the last trip didnt include Priscilla. they were on different trips!!!
