HARARE – US-based Zimbabwean gospel music star Shingisai Suluma has set November 7 as the new date for her show in the UK.

She was due to perform alongside Fungisai Zvakavapano-Mashavave in Birmingham last month but pulled out after her visa was delayed.

She told Showbiz in an e-mail: “I am looking forward to be in England after 14 years. There are lots of memories to cherish, lots of friends to meet and lots of praise to God.”

The show, at Dunstable Leisure Centre, will be a launch concert for her latest album, Ndewake, and there will be a live DVD recording at the gig.

The daughter of a pastor, Suluma was already singing in church at the age of eight, and has seven albums to her name since first going into the studio in England in 1995.
