Monomotapa & Bantu Rovers in drab draw

Monomotapa troubled by player unrest could only manage a draw against Bantu Rovers at Rufaro Stadium Wednesday evening.
Monomotapa players have been on strike and it was a miracle that the bulk of their regular side managed to play at all in this encounter.
Since a humiliating 0-5 defeat to TP Mazembe in the DRC during the African Champions League Monomotapa players and officials are haggling over bonuses and allowances.
Monoz also appeared to struggle for sharpness having spent the better part of the week since their return from the Democratic Republic of Congo on Sunday, haggling over payments of bonuses and allowances.
Bantu Rovers coach Gift Lunga (snr) expressed satisfaction with the outcome. “It is a good result, getting a point away from home,” Lunga said.
