New twist in asylum support letters scandal

The ‘pay and we will support your claim’ scandal allegedly involving some of the Zimbabwean organisations in the UK, such as ROHR, ZimVigil and the MDC UK has now taken a new twist, with claims that the £120 charged by ROHR for a support letter is just the tip of the iceberg.
For many years it has been an open secret that no one in the Zimbabwean community dared speak about, some of the political leaders and human rights activists have not only been charging the desperate asylum seekers for support letters but have also demanded sexual favours from those unable to pay for the letters in cash. A number of females were victims of this sick scam.
Some of the organisations that have allegedly taken part in this are registered as charities and some as political parties. The activists and political leaders involved in this scandal have abused their positions of power and benefited financially. They have not only abused those seeking asylum but also the organisations they represent and diminished the respect and whatever good work these organisations were doing.
Nehanda Radio has it on good authority that some top MDC UK members charged as much as £70 for a support letter, it is still unclear whether the letters come with a grantee that using it to support a claim would lead to one getting granted asylum. Nehanda Radio spoke to some people who claimed that after paying for these support letters they still got their claims rejected and they were told there were no refunds.
The most annoyed were those that had to perform sexual favours for these letters only to find that it was all in vain. Investigations also found that those with the money and contacts quickly got these support letters one could for example get to a ROHR meeting pay a year’s subscription and could get a letter of support from ROHR never mind that he only attended that one meeting. It is the money that seems to be doing the talking.
Nehanda Radio also has it on good authority that the tension between MDC UK and ROHR has now got so bad it is alleged that the human rights group is encouraging those who still had outstanding asylum claims to ditch the MDC because it is no longer relevant to their claims (asylum cases) and to join ROHR as human rights activists and align themselves to ZAPU-UK to maximise their chances of getting asylum.

I am not in any way aligned to Tapa, in the same way I am NOT ligned to Brill’ Pongo (that’s his real name)
What aI am against is people like Pongo sexing up stories in order to get a readership. If you are his suporter, why don’t you get Pongo to put forward his evidence. Give us examples of women who have been abuse sexually. This is a very serious accusation Pongo has made, but the rest of Zimbaweans are also entitled to the truth.

The statement given my ROHR is null and void.Yes evidence is coming to light that sexual advances were made on a lot of valunerable women on the pretext Tapa was an influencial character in the Asylum process.A lot of people lost money on useless cards and support letters.Yes sure some people got aslyum granted but not on the word and support of TAPA.TAPA HAS NO INFLUENCE PERIOD.
The very same people who lost their sexual diginity under the duress of TAPA and crew are now appearing from the folds and ready to give evidence.

Unless someone is coming up with real evidence, then I sugest we put a sock in it, I do know that what is right is right and what is wrong, is just wrong. Wrong is no mans right. The uk is beautiful for one thing rule of law works and there are institutes and machanisms to deal with misappropriation, let justice take its course. We have hung out enough linen in public. The British Home Office has been very discriminatory over the issue of all Zimbabweans. Had those here been treated with diginity by the Home Office here in the U.K. the market for sexual favours and money for a letter would never have been available.
Whether one is Zim CIO or Ordinary Zim, MDC supporter Zimbabwe has just become a country where life is no longer normal fo many of its citizens which ever way you want to look at it.
It si a shame that These Papas and other take other people’s suffering as opportunities to spread HIV and make money at the same time. The real problem is the BRITISH HOME OFFICE POLICY WHICH IS SUPPORTING MUGABE’S DICTATORSHIP.
The truth is Africans are no longer welcome but they cannot remove those that are already here otherwise they do not like us. That is why they have the E.U. which discriminates against other nationalities that come from outside the E.U.
